The landmark-like Itikanmäki pedestrian and bicycle bridge is a wood clad steel bridge across Pohjan valtatie road. It has a cost-sufficient supporting steel structure covered with a stylish concrete deck and finished with a beautifully aging larch cladding. The light sources installed behind the baleen-like wooden shell make the whole bridge seem like one enormous light fixture.
